Compressed waste - An ingenious solution for waste handling in residential areas
Roco waste suction system is a waste treatment system for household waste for burning. A simple presentation of the system is that you can throw away your trash bag, either through a garbage chute on the bottom floor or in the traditional garbage chutes. The trash bag falls down to a compressor, where fragmenting and compression takes place. The compressor occupies a volume of only 1 cubic meter, and it can be located where there is space. The waste is compressed to approx. 30 % of the original volume and is then fed to a pipe of ø180mm.
The compressed waste is then conveyed with pressurized air to a container. The conveying distance and the location of the container is adaptable, in other words, the container can be located for instance 200 m away and on another level, theoretically there are no limitations.
The system is possible to adapt, requires a small space and the solutions are created depending on the location and the design of the building.
